Take Charge Of Your Space Exploration With Adler After Dark

If you’re dying to get a little space exploration time in with the holidays coming, then you might want to experience a unique event with the Adler Planetarium’s After Dark events. Designed to give you a once a month opportunity on the third Thursday of every month to experience an innovative opportunity to interact with space and learn more about our universe, the next event takes place at the Adler Planetarium on December 21st and is titled “Spacecation.”
Spacecation
On December 21st, Adler After Dark hosts its next event, called Spacecation. This event focuses on the concept of space tourism, which could be a reality in the future. Adler will teach you all about space tourism, and guide you through the process and where you might want to go. Cocktails will be available for purchase at this event, and you must be twenty-one or older to attend.
Doane Observatory
Also, if you decide to pay $5 extra when you attend Spacecation, you can also take a tour of the Doane Observatory. At the observatory, you’ll get to experience all kinds of educational possibilities related to our universe.
Tickets
Adler After Dark’s events take place on the third Thursday of each month, and run from 6:00 until 10:00 PM at the Adler Planetarium. Ticket prices are:
- $20 if you purchase your tickets ahead of time online.
- $25 if you purchase your tickets at the door.
- $5 extra if you want to also visit the Doane Observatory while at the event.
If you decide to purchase your tickets online ahead of time to save some money, then ticket sales start at 9:00 AM on the first of each month.
